HAMBURGER MEDLEY Microwave
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped green pepper or onion
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 can (8 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained
1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 cup corn chips, crushed
Yield: 4 Servings
Crumble ground beef in 3-quart casserole. Stir in green pepper. Cook at HIGH 6 minutes or until beef is browned; stir once. Drain. Stir in water, tomato sauce, corn, macaroni, hot pepper sauce. Cover with lid. Cook at HIGH 8 minutes and at MEDIUM-LOW 10 to 12 minutes, or until macaroni is tender; stir twice. Let stand, covered, 10 minutes. Top with corn chips and serve.
