FLORIDA-STYLE NOODLES
1 package (8 oz.) medium egg noodles 1/2 cup almonds 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1 tablespoon poppy seeds 1/2 tablespoon grated lemon peel 1/2 tablespoon grated orange peel 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper 1 cup sour cream
Yield: 4 Servings
Cook noodles according to chart, page 116. While noodles are standing, in microwave-safe serving bowl, combine almonds and butter. Heat at HIGH 1 to I1/2 minutes, or until butter is melted. Stir in drained noodles, poppy seeds, lemon and orange peel, salt and pepper, toss well. Serve with sour cream.
